In typical operations, the HPS is capable of 8 to 18 packages per minute. Actual throughput is dependent upon multiple factors including staffing productivity and performance, workflows, data interfaces and availability of product to the system. We can configure your HPS with add-ons to meet the specific needs of your order fulfillment center.
The HPS Horizontal Packaging System uses cost-effective C-Fold polyfilm material to create a tamper resistant package. The material enters the sealing head and the end is cut off according to the package size. The package then exits the system and travels to apply the shipping label to the package. An optional in-line scale for either weight verification or rate shopping is available. A unique sorting system can be added to create a complete package processing system.
